I'm Missy Craft, an educator and Clinical Pastoral Counselor with a profound affinity for nurturing relationships and a rich background in guiding couples along the journey of marriage with God’s help. With over 5+ years of experience in biblical based marriage counseling and relationship education, I've dedicated my career to exploring the intricate dynamics between partners. My expertise is grounded in real-world interactions and bolstered by a constant pursuit of current research in temperament study, interpersonal communication and family studies, equipping me with the knowledge and tools to facilitate meaningful dialogue and connection among those seeking to solidify their matrimonial bonds.

My passion for the subject of marriage extends beyond the theoretical; it is deeply rooted in the belief that God is the way, the truth and the light. Partnered with this, I believe healthy, communicative relationships are the cornerstone of thriving families and communities. This conviction drives my commitment to the counseling and training courses, where I blend practical advice with empathetic support to create a transformative learning experience. Through my counseling practice and teaching roles, I strive to empower individuals and couples to create strong, long lasting partnerships built on mutual respect, love, and understanding, paving the way for a lifetime of shared happiness and growth.

As a plane crash survivor and one who has fully recovered from trauma, I was led to leave the corporate world of a Data Engineer to pursue my passion in ministry. In 2021, I launched a 501©3 non-profit serving Veterans and First Responders impacted by Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and shortly after, started counseling services. During my youth, I worked to actively pursue the scriptural commandment to “love your neighbor as yourself” by modeling the life of Jesus.

I am an imperfect person who does daily checks to see where I fall short and pray for God to change the things in me that are not of him and continue to walk as the honoring disciple he designed within me. I have committed hundreds of hours to serving Christ by Leadership, Director and Lead roles in VBS, attendance of Bible Studies, Volunteering for Non-Profit organizations, online teachings and doing independent crusade evangelism by praying and mentoring those less fortunate in need of hope.

I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus in Marketing and Minor in Psychology from The University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, A Master’s degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling, and I am a certified Temperament Specialist (Arno Profiling System) through the University of Colorado Theological Seminary. My Doctorate studies are underway and set to be completed in 2026. I am certified by the National Christian Counseling Association (NCCA) specializing in Marriage, Family, Youth, Addiction, Abuse & Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), with a focus on Equine Experiential Learning with my 6 amazing therapy horses. My Equine Services are attributed to our Veteran’s, First Responders and civilians in the North Houston area and I offer tele-health coaching and counseling around the world.

I am a proud mother of two amazing children and have the best partner and soulmate God could have given me on this earth. My family truly is the center of my world aside Jesus. My children are blessed to have this rare opportunity to experience Equine Therapy from the forefront and see the impacts of mental health from a front row seat. Growing up with horses as a child, changed my life and I feel so blessed to allow my own children this same experience of healing power, friendship, responsibility, self-awareness, connection, and joy that only horses bring; along with being a part of this incredible Clinical practice be built from the ground up, changing lives of families around the world, restoring marriages, putting a halt on addiction, and sparing more children from a family divorce and life of brokenness.
